Keep an eye on this page to ensure you don’t miss out on our events:

  • Freshers Fair, 10am-4pm, 7 and 8 October, Parker's Piece, Cambridge,  CB1 1NA. Come and meet us at our stall in the Freshers' Fair on Parker's Piece. We'll be one of around 300 stalls over three tents, so we'll let you know where we are exactly, once we know ourselves. We're also looking for volunteers to help on the stall for a few hours. Message me directly or email me on rjk62.

  • Pub-night, The Free Press, 7pm Wednesday, 8 October, 7 Prospect Row, Cambridge, CB1 1DU. Just penciled in for the moment, but this is a great pub with lovely home-cooked locally-sourced food and a must for anyone wanting to claim pub-insider knowledge of Cambridge. Menu HERE

  • Supper Club, Limoncello, 7pm Wednesday, 15 October, 212 Mill Rd, Cambridge, CB1 3NF. The first of our popular Supper Clubs: i.e. reasonably priced get-to-know-you meals with lovely Cambridge matures and delicious food (and we usually manage to end up in the pub afterwards). This is an authentic family-run cafe om Mill Road: i.e. it's VERY Italian. Check it out HERE. We will need definite numbers (they want a deposit) so a poll's coming on the Open Forum.

  • Networking Night, 7-9pm, Monday, 20 October at Hughes Hall, Mortimer Road, Cambridge, CB1 2EW. A new academic intake and that means a new chance at networking. Our famous networking nights involve 'pot-luck' BYO food & drink (though there is a bar), 'speak-up' 5-second introductions and lots of beautiful people all keen to exchange names, numbers and LinkedIn profiles. Thanks Ben!

  • Hill College Mature Students' Drinks and Pizza Event, 7-10pm, Wednesday, 22 October Chruchill College MCR, Storey's Way, Cambridge, CB3 0DS. A matures evening (drinks and pizza) in the new pimped-up 'pink-n-pool' Churchill MCR for anyone at any of the 'Hill Colleges'. (That's Teddies, Fitz, MEdwards, Lucy Cav, Girton and includes anyone living in Eddington and 'Tit Hall' Wychfield as well as Churchill itself).

  • Life as a Cambridge Mature Student Panel Discussion, 12.30-2pm, Tuesday, 19 November, Student Support Centre, New Museum Site, Bene't St, Cambridge, CB2 3PT. A heads up for an important event we'll be holding with Student Services in which we hope mature students will attend to share their experiences of Cambridge life as a mature. It's an audience-with-speakers event (with lots of audience participation for those that want to air their views). But we're also looking for some panellists who want to share their experiences. What's good/bad/could-be better etc. Email me Tara on tmm49. Thanks Tara!
